The Right to Chose

The Issue

We believe that every individual possesses the fundamental right to make autonomous decisions regarding their own body and personal well-being. This right is intrinsic to our humanity and forms the foundation of individual freedom and dignity. Each person should have the authority to manage their health and life choices without undue interference, fear, or limitations imposed by external forces.

It is imperative that this right remains protected for all individuals, free from the constraints of state regulations, federal legislation, or judicial decisions that seek to undermine our autonomy. The importance of bodily autonomy cannot be overstated; it encompasses the right to make informed choices about medical procedures, reproductive health, and overall well-being. Without such protections, vulnerable populations may face disproportionate impacts, further exacerbating inequalities and injustices.

We invite women's groups, advocacy organizations, and allies from all walks of life to stand with us in support of this measure. By uniting our voices, we can uphold and safeguard our rights to self-determination and bodily autonomy for everyone. This initiative is not merely about legislation; it is about reaffirming our commitment to each person's right to make choices about their own life and health.

Together, we can ensure that the voices of those who seek to reclaim their autonomy are heard and respected. Let us work collectively to advance this vital cause and foster a future where everyone is empowered to make their own informed decisions without fear of infringement. Join us in this crucial endeavor, and let’s pave the way for a more equitable and just society.

The undersigned hereby propose that the following constitutional amendment be submitted for consideration before the United States Congress, specifically to the House of Representatives, for discussion, debate, and potential ratification.

Proposed Constitutional Amendment:

Section 1: The rights of individuals who are not under mandated medical or legal restraint to exercise control over their own bodies and personal well-being shall be inviolable.

Section 2: Neither individual states, federal legislative bodies, nor the courts shall have the authority to infringe upon these rights.

Section 3: This amendment shall take effect immediately upon ratification.
