Include The Universal Declaration Of Human Rights On Passports
Dear President of the United States, The U.S. Senate, and The U.S. House of Representatives
Include the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights on passports would be an effective way of promoting it as an official document and raise global awareness regarding it existence and the United Nations.
Despite the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights is a fundamental human rights document developed over 60 years ago, few global citizens are aware of its existence and importance. Therefore, including the declaration in passports would raise global awareness, amplify its importance across societies and promote it as an official document. If the United States Government were to do this, it would set good example and leadership to the rest of the world that this nation respect human rights and intends to live by international standards and would signal the government is quite serious about protecting the rights of all people.
We hereby, urge legislators to promote and advance human rights and the common good by including the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights on passports. We thank you for your attention and efforts.
Sincerely,
[Your name]
