We are all very scared about COVID 19, we are all following the Government advice and we stay at home to save lives. But what happens when one member of our family becomes ill?
We are asked to isolate, to monitor the situation without any medical advice or support. The NHS 111 is just a series of general questions and when we complete the questionnaire the person on line tells us that, yes, we might have coronavirus and therefore we must stay at home.
In Germany, where casualties are very low, people get tested at home and they receive early treatment with antiviral medicines that, as far as scientists can say at this stage, seem to make a difference and people don't get to the serious and critical stage where hospitalisation means ICU and very likely death.
Without testing we are facing the COVID 19 as we chose to continue with herd immunity. Testing and early therapy has already been proved a good combination to fight this deadly virus. Why a Country like UK cannot implement and move fast in this direction?
We all understand the difficulties of decision makers but if there is this possibility why don't we STAY AT HOME, GET TESTED, TAKE SOME MEDICINES and try to fight really the pandemic?

After seeing many children pass away due to the guardians being drug addicts it has become clear something has to be done. I am calling for peace for poppy ( poppy widdison). Addicts are currently treated by prescribed methadone. This only masks the problems not the cause. No one wakes up one day and decides to become addicted to drugs, there is always a cause behind it. If any individual with a child in their care on a methadone programme where to go through consistent counselling they are more likely to work through their problems and get off the drugs. Therefore the children have a much better chance of having a healthy, happy life. It must be mandatory though or they will just hide behind the drugs as that is all they know. It will save money for the NHS in the long run as well. Please help make Peace for Poppy by trying to stop more children being harmed. Read more
