Petition to United Nations Commission on Human Rights
Romania is undergoing a serious shortage/lack of supply of IVIG, which is a plasma product, used as a first line of defence in treating autoimmune diseases.  This excerpt, taken from a friend who has CIDP and requires ongoing infusions of IVIG to help her have some quality of life: “So...keeping you posted with what we are going through here in Romania. More than 1000 patients on ivig left without medication. Children and adults. Primary immunodeficiencies, autoimmune diseases, neurological progressive diseases...we are sent to slow death. The Ministry of Health solved the crisis a few weeks ago: they bought 6000vials of Pentaglobin...yeah. Pentaglobin is an immunoglobulin, but not the one we need. Pentaglobin is only used in severe sepsis with antibiotics. We had to get out on the streets and to ask to meet them and tell them again and again that we cannot use Pentaglobin. And today they said that they bought 900 vials of Intratect. We don’t know how many grams are in a vial, but we suspect it’s the 2.5 grams. 900 vials for about 1000 patients. Who lives and who dies? Who do you save? 900 vials until January, when they will get 3000 more. We need any help in the world.” We need as many signatures as we can get to help Romanian men, women and children access to this treatment. Read more

; personality disorders. Around 88% of police departments have required drug screening. This should be required every 6 months to a year while the officer is employed. Much like how a doctor or lawyer is re-examined on their knowledge to ensure they are fit to practice, an officer should be required to believe should be included and federally required as well. Petition to President of the United States, UK Parliament, Scott Morrison
I am a South African who immigrated to the United Kingdom 12 years ago and I am feeling extremely concerned about the current situation happening in South Africa. For the past few days KwaZulu Natal and Johannesburg have been dealing with looters, rioters and attacks on commercial properties and businesses which have been burnt to the ground after looting. Currently there are extremely limited stores available to buy essential food, water or medical supplies, which has now become an issue.  People are standing in mile long ques from early in the morning in the hope that they can get some essentials for their families.  As the shelves are being packed, they are being emptied due to the shortage of food, water and medical supplies.  In certain areas of KwaZulu Natal people are unable to get to food stores as they are still experiencing unrest and attacks in their community, which is stopping communities from leaving their residential homes to go out searching for essentials due to the attacks on vehicles and people. It all started with our ex-president Jacob Zuma being imprisoned for 15 months for contempt of court where his followers started the riots to which has now escalated into political aggression targeting the public where attacks are now heading towards residential areas.  The civilians have barricaded entrances into their communities to safeguard their families and businesses from being attacked and looted by the rioters.  Everyone has had limited sleep and worried that more attacks are on the way.   The citizens of South Africa have had to take matters into their own hands using any form of weaponry due to the government not sending out any or limited military assistance.  Water pipes, electrical substations, factories, businesses even the Blood Bank were targeted by the attackers. John Sparks from Sky News has broadcasted a excellent piece of journalism explaining the current unrest and kaos happening in South Africa.  https://youtu.be/hDXgfiQghIE South Africa Needs Outside Assistance Urgently.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvIFNe2hYUU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmmwO2Rj7SE ** This petition gets updated as the situation changesRead more

Petition to Arizona School Districts and Judge Katherine Cooper
With teachers being one of the first groups to be vaccinated, lower COVID cases, and no longer a mask mandate in Arizona and Governor Ducey rescinded the Executive Order on masks in schools.  Parents now have the right to choose if they want to send their child to school with out a mask. As per A.R.S. 1-601 “The liberty of parents to direct the upbringing, education, healthcare, and mental health of their children is a fundamental right,” continued in A.R.S. 1-602, “all parental rights are reserved to a parent of a minor child with out abstraction or interference from the state, any political subdivision of this state, any other governmental entity or any other institution, including right to direct the moral or religious training of the minor child, and right to make healthcare decisions for the minor child, including rights pursuant with A.R.S. 15-873, 36-2271, and 36-2272  (This is not a petition supporting the Covid vaccine)   Read more

engage them in self-reflection. What I am asking of UF is this: I believe that the required freshman course should be changed to ANT3451: Race and Racism. Currently, the required course is IDS1161 of all, ignorance. However, implementing ANT3451: Race and Racism as the required freshman course change the required freshman course, but, even beyond that, to use your platform, your sphere ofRead more

Petition to Criminally Charge Heroin Addicts When They OD and EMS is Required, law enforcement
I live in KY and much of the state, a heroin addict can overdose and be back at home that same evening with no criminal charges. Why is it that someone in possession of marijuana can get charged, someone drinking and driving can get charged, but a heroin addict can overdose in public etc and not get a single charge? Why is it OK for a heroin addict to tie up EMS and first responders and cost millions of dollars to the state and tax payers to cover the cost of Narcan and these EMS runs? Why??? We started this petition with the goal of making that change. Heroin is by far one of the worst drugs available anymore and people are getting away with it on a daily basis. Ems workers are responding to overdose calls on a daily basis and these people get brought back to life and sent home. Where are the adult consequences for abusing, possession etc that any other drug user gets when caught with such things? It's time to start making these people own up to what they are doing, it's time to take away everything they own and give them a dose of reality while they sit in a cell and think about what it is they are doing. At any given moment there are people on Heroin behind the wheels of cars, sitting next to you in restaurants, leaving needles on the street for our kids to find etc. Stand up with me and let's say NO MORE!!!!! If enough of our voices are heard, we may be what's needed to cause something to change. Let's not wait until it's too late and the cemetery continues to fill up unnecessarily!!!!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Get it off our streets.....I’m sick of seeing family and friends loose their loved ones over this evil drug, too many are dying from it way to young! Heroin is taking over their lives and it’s sad this might just save some lives and make them want to change if they are facing charges!Read more

Petition to Politicians & firework manufacturers
Why is it necessary for fireworks to be so noisy? Animals are terrified from pet dogs & cats to horses and rabbits. Fireworks are visually stunning & don't need loud noises for us to enjoy them. Most pet owners & vets would agree. Its time this issue was addressed! From end October to End December (60 days or so) fireworks are frequently let off increasing the misery for animals and their owners. There is a simple solution without spoiling anyone's enjoyment - make them less loud! Read more

Petition to Henry McMaster
I’m Alexa Marsh, a seventeen year old girl with a deep love for animals. I have two dogs, a black lab named Brooke and a yorkie mix named Murray, whom my family and I adopted after he was rescued from a puppy mill a few years ago. After learning about what he as well as the other dogs at the puppy mill suffered through, I was absolutely horrified, and even more so when I discovered that in some states there are not any regulations for breeders.  Puppy mills are large breeding facilities whose only interest is profit from pet stores buying their puppies. These puppy mills do not care about the health conditions of the dogs, as long as they are making income. Sanitation conditions are intolerable, and often dogs are found stuffed into tiny cages living among their feces and urine. Their skin is dry and itchy from ticks and fleas, and their fur is long and matted. These dogs are starved and malnourished, and during the occasional times in which they are fed, they are left to fight each other for the small amount of food that is provided for them. Many dogs suffer from blindness, deafness, joint disorders, kidney and heart diseases, epilepsy, and life-threatening illnesses that are passed on to their puppies.  Puppy Mills are inhumane and cruel, and by requiring licenses for dog breeders in the state of South Carolina, we can help limit these horrible facilities and save innocent dogs from terrible cruelty.Read more
