Add a iceycat reference to siege due to his passing.

After iceycat25's passing on the 28th of June 2020, Due to suicide. We are asking that because of the time and effort he put into his videos and the amount of people he has introduced the game to through well structured and detailed videos. We as a community are asking that a memorial/Easter egg of some sort gets put into the game(or the chalet/skyscraper rework) to remember him. RIP iceycat. Update: for anyone interested NukemDukem has created a go fund me to supporting all cost involved with funerals etc: https://gf.me/u/ycw6rk

Petition to Kathryn Stone OBE, Sinn Fein, Democratic Unionist Party, Ulster Unionist Party, Traditional Unionist Voice, Nigel Dodds MP, Arlene Foster MLA, Jim Allister MLA, Robin Swann MLA, Barry McElduff MP, ...

Demand for Barry McElduff to resign after his disrespectful Kingsmill Massacre reference.

The people of Northern Ireland demand that Barry McElduff should resign after his disgraceful video referencing the Kingsmill Massacre posted at 00:05 5th January 2018 the 42nd anniversary of the atrocity where 10 innocent workmen were brutally murdered because of their protestant faith.  We believe Barry McElduff's 'apology' is not enough. The unionist community and particularly the families of those murdered deserve more than a mere apology. Furthermore Sinn Féin should condemn all atrocities carried out by republican terrorists that have occurred in the past.

Petition to United States Supreme Court, Daniel Cameron, Regina S. Edwards, Andy Beshear

John Fitzgerald Johnson Character Reference Letter

To, The Honorable Judge Regina S. Edwards United States District Court Western District Of Kentucky Gene Snyder United States Courthouse 601 West Broadway Room 200 Louisville, Ky 40202-2227     Dear Judge Regina S. Edwards, We the people are writing this letter given recent charging complaint against John Fitzgerald Johnson. In the complaint Johnson was charged in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 111 assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers or employees. We understand the seriousness of these charges which is why we are demanding a thorough investigation that we believe will exonerate Johnson. We have known Johnson for the past three years and he has taught us many spiritual classes that have helped us become better people and live more productive lives. He has also helped make our communities better uplifting people from all walks of life and has organized with local agencies and organizations to make all events peaceful and safe. Which is why I want to stress that Johnson would never assault, resist, or impede officers during an event that he coordinated with to effectively ensure the safety of all parties involved and the people of Louisville.   The evidence which has led to Johnson being named in the complaint is not sufficient to move forward with the indictment. Daniel Nally, Special Agent with the F.B.I. stated in the complaint that Johnson was in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 111 when he allegedly aimed/brandished an AR platform rifle at the officers on the rooftop of the Jefferson County Grand Jury building. In paragraph 12 of the charging complaint, Nally stated verbatim the purpose of their investigation and them being on the rooftop was to observe the armed individuals on Armory Place and try to determine their intentions. From his own words Nally did not know what Johnson’s intention was when he allegedly aimed/brandished an AR platform rifle at the rooftop on September 4th, 2020. We would like to stress that this is a huge misunderstanding and charging Johnson in violation of U.S.C. § 111 would be a mischaracterization of justice. Weeks and up to a month prior to September 4th, 2020, Johnson coordinated on the phone and in person the plans to keep all parties involved and the people of Louisville safe. Another part of that coordination was so that the Louisville Metro Police Department would have knowledge of the whereabouts of Johnson and his militia during the event. It is a fact that Johnson was unaware of who was on the rooftop at 8:34pm on the September 4th. It is a fact that Johnson provided all whereabouts of him and his militia. While it is true that Major Gregory of The Louisville Metro Police department told Johnson that him and his team would be on rooftops during the event, Johnson did not have full details of every building or rooftop they would occupy during the event. We would like to point out the fact that opposing groups such as The Proud Boys who are a known hate group as classified by The Southern Poverty Law Center has members who were recently charged by the F.B.I. on January 26th, 2021 in connection with the capitol riots that took place on January 6th, 2021 who were possibly present during the September 4th planned peaceful event. It is a known fact that during events such as these, opposing groups sometimes place armed members on rooftops that can be perceived as snipers to deter peaceful protesters from coming down a particular street or area. At 8:34pm in Louisville, KY there is no daylight, and it is not far fetched to understand that Johnson was simply doing everything he can to verify the safety of everyone. We the people would like to highlight the fact that Johnson has planned four peaceful events prior to the one in question without any arrests of members of the NFAC. Johnson has always made sure he has had the proper permits and licenses to have his events and peacefully assemble within the confines of all local, state, and federal laws. We request that this case be dismissed immediately with prejudice. Johnson is facing grave consequences if convicted of this crime and since being arrested Johnson’s livelihood and the way he earns money has been adversely affected. We the people can vouch for Johnson who has served this country and would never assault, resist, or impede officers and we know this is a huge misunderstanding and we request that you consider this letter before moving forward with the indictment.   Thank You. Yours sincerely, We The People

Petition to Mr. Luis J. Gonzalez

Save IUP Library Books and Reference Materials

Approximately 43.08% of IUP’s library books are going to be purged from the shelves without being replaced by newer additions or contemporary material. If students wish to access copies of the books lost, they will have to seek them out online or through interlibrary loan.  The books that are being targeted for removal will be all the books that have not been checked out or tagged in the past 20 years, regardless of relevancy or historic value. While these books have not have made it to the front desk, that does not mean they have not been accessed by students. While some students simply enjoy perusing the aisles of the library and return the books on their own, other students are concerned they may be losing a valuable resource for their studies or career. For instance, some may also find that “out of date” books provide insight on perspectives from different eras of history. Another concern is that books donated in memory of someone will be discarded. A Library is seen as a physical manifestation of knowledge, and a symbol of IUP’s academic integrity. Will people continue to donate to the library as they have when almost half of the library books are no longer available? It is an unfortunate fact that most students are not aware of this issue.  Although a survey was conducted by the Student Government Association (SGA), there were only 80 participants, which is a poor reflection of the thousands of students, professors, and community members who access the IUP campus library. Some of those who have viewed the survey questions complain that the questions consistently leaned towards a certain answer, and accuse the survey of being tailored to support the book purging. A motion was also conducted by SGA to support the book purge. Because of the lack of advertisement of this issue, and because the survey and motion were conducted so quickly, it would be erroneous to believe either the survey or the motion are reflective of what the IUP populations actually wants. The Book Purge is motivated by the complaint that the first and bottom floor of the library becomes too crowded during finals week and other concentrated periods of widespread studying. To resolve this issue, IUP has decided to eliminate books from the second floor and turn it into another group study area.  While the second and third floor of the library already have study cubicles, only the first and bottom floor are accessible to students after midnight. The problems IUP is looking to address could be resolved by simply extending the hours which the second and third floors can be accessed during known periods of high traffic, such as the week before finals.  Another option would be to look into utilizing existing unused space, instead of wasting man hours on removing books, doing away with a cherished historic resource, and paying to renovate the second floor. IUP could open up select floors of the Humanities and Social Science building or other academic buildings for studying; academic departments could use this as an opportunity to host studying events to encourage camaraderie amongst students.  Another option would be to make the abandoned Foster Dining Hall an impressive study center, if that much space is needed. It is understood that libraries have been changing since the eruption of the digital age, but this action seems like an overzealous response to fit with the times. The library has a beautiful collection that should not be altered so drastically. Historically, getting rid of books has never gone well either. The IUP students, faculty, and Indiana community all rely on the library and are proud to have such extensive resources. Many people feel unheard and like their voice is being ignored. By signing this petition, you agree that this purging should come to a halt so that the community may converse more deeply, compromise, and come to a conclusion that reflects all those impacted by this decision. (To take further action, go check some books out from the library and/or take some to the front desk to restock.)

Petition in reference to fairness in marijuana sentencing

Brian Johnson better known as Pete, is a father serving a NATURAL LIFE sentence for distribution of less than 28 grams of MARIJUANA. Today he has served over 10 years of his life for a non violent crime! People change; often profoundly, he is ready to be a law abiding citizen and role model for his daughter, friends, and family. He can mentor other young men making the same mistakes he did, therefore being a help to society.    Criminal justice reform advocates say that all inmates sentenced to lengthy terms for nonviolent offenses deserve a second chance. Louisiana simply should provide some of Louisiana’s longest serving prisoners with an opportunity to show that they have earned a second chance. It is the role and duty of the judiciary to protect people from excessive infringements on their right to liberty and to ensure that sentences are not so needlessly cruel as to undermine the basic obligation of the government to affirm the dignity of all it’s citizens.
