Tell Congress not to cut funding that protects family farmers & hungry Americans!
The Farm Bill is the most important and comprehensive piece of food and farm legislation in the United States. In 2018, family farmers, the environment, and all Americans could suffer major losses if the Farm Bill is not adequately funded and passed this year. We’re asking Congress to pass a Farm Bill in 2018 that helps all Americans, and to provide sufficient funding so that the programs actually work. The Farm Bill is critical to family farmers and ranchers because it covers: Programs that help keep food producers on the land during times of environmental and economic uncertainty Trade relationships and food exports Federal loan programs that help food producers access financial resources necessary to maintain their operations Programs to ensure the future of American agriculture by training and supporting beginning and socially disadvantaged producers The Farm Bill isn’t just for farmers – it affects consumers, rural communities, and the environment too: Helps farmers implement practices to mitigate and adapt to climate change Funds essential programs like the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program that make food affordable for vulnerable populations Backs programs that help rural communities thrive by bolstering economic growth and improving quality of life. But the success of the Farm Bill depends on two things: funding and timing. If Congress fails to pass the Farm Bill within the year, many of these important programs are at risk of expiring, leaving family farmers and hungry Americans without crucial support. COURT BULLIES MAN: Makes Him Homeless Because He Protects Nature
INTRODUCTION In 2013, Alain de Coessemaeker was ordered to remove all of the trees from his lifelong home when his neighbors filed suit in the Belgian courts; the courts relied on an 1886 statute. Under the guidance of experts, Alain complied and began the transplantation. Although the issue had been long resolved, in 2017 the courts ruled that his efforts took too long and ordered him to pay 847.336 Euros to his neighbors despite the fact that there was no property damage to his neighbors whatsoever. In the process, Alain lost his home and is now living under the rule of a court determined to destroy him. His appeal will be heard in October of 2017. Please support Alain. The courts should not be allowed to simply bully people, causing financial devastation and emotional distress, simply because they can. We are asking the court to reverse its reliance on the archaic 19th century statue, look to current jurisprudence, and finally render justice for this gentle man.

Recently, the news hit about the tragic preventable death of a 3 year old after eating a grilled cheese sandwich. Sadly, this child was the 7th person to die of a dairy allergy just this year. We need better food allergy awareness that all food allergens are equally as dangerous. The goal of this petition is the following: Demand better food allergy education for all schools that ANY food can cause anaphylaxis and to take the focus off PEANUTS and NUTS when looking at policy's. We are asking that all the food allergy organizations, advocates do the following to ensure equal awareness and policy for all with food allergies. Demand that any food allergy that is present in the classroom be treated equally with the same precautions or same policy. Teach signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, and how to read action plans and have access to EPI Encourage a public media campaign that dairy allergies are not the same as lactose intolerance and highlight the dangers of a dairy allergy. A similar campaign should be conducted for wheat allergies vs celiac disease. Educate on handwashing, surface cleaning and emergency response preparedness. Educate schools and the public on asthma and anaphylaxis. People need to know that asthma is the biggest common factor in fatalities and anaphylaxis is often mistaken for an asthma attack. Schools already have many response policies in place. However, they lack awareness on what can cause anaphylaxis and what it looks like. It's not always “Boom! I ate something and I am on the floor unable to talk.” It's vital we educate on the whole picture. Please help keep ALL with food allergies safe. Thank you!

Propose a Constitutional amendment that protects ALL life from conception until death.
Life begins at conception. Therefore, life should be constitutionally protected from conception until death. In order to secure this provision, the people of the United States of America demand a Constitutional Amendment, the Twenty-eighth Amendment to the United States of America. This amendment must explicitly define and protect ALL human life from conception until death. If our government cannot protect the most fundamental of human rights, then it cannot secure any other right. Our Declaration of Independence states, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed." The Preamble to the U.S. Constitution states, "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." The Declaration of Independence clearly states that we are created equal, with unalienable rights that do not come from the government, but that the government has a sovereign duty to protect. The United States government has a duty to protect all life, regardless of its developmental stage. The Preamble to the Constitution states that it does 'ordain and establish this Constitution' in order to 'secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.' Posterity clearly refers to our future descendants, both born and unborn. The biological definition of life is indisputably clear. Human life is a continuous developmental process that begins at conception and ends at death. Birth is simply a dramatic event in the developmental process of an already distinct and unique human life. Biologically speaking, “The term conception refers to the union of the male and female pronuclear elements of procreation from which a new living being develops. It is synonymous with the terms fecundation, impregnation, and fertilization … The zygote thus formed represents the beginning of a new life.” (J.P. Greenhill and E.A. Freidman. Biological Principles and Modern Practice of Obstetrics. Philadelphia: W.B. Saunders Publishers. 1974 Pages 17 and 23.) Additionally, the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution clearly states: "No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." Clearly, then, a human life inside the womb is a unique 'person' and demands the same protection as a human life outside the womb. The value of a unique human life must not be discriminated on the basis of development, ability or perceived value to society. Therefore, United States Government has a responsibility to protect all life within its jurisdiction and to protect the rights of all citizens. The word 'viability' has become a euphemism and is used to soften the reality of what abortion really is: the intentional killing of an innocent human life. Viability is defined by Dictionary.com as the, "ability to live, especially under certain conditions." It is true that the human life cannot survive outside the womb during much of the pregnancy. That is precisely why the human life develops in the womb during this period. The embryo's inability to live outside the womb is an excellent argument for keeping the embryo in the womb, not for killing it. One might use the same rationale to justify strangling a man, simply because he cannot live without being able to breathe. If one argues abortion on the basis of viability, meaning its dependence on outside sources for survival, then one could also argue that the 'viability' of a three year old child is not yet sufficient to be deemed a full 'person.' Does the child's dependence on outside sources for survival leave the child bereft of any constitutional protections or does it, to the contrary, demand a greater burden of responsibility to that child? If a parent leaves a toddler unattended for a week, the child will die. Additionally, the weight of responsibility of the parent to the child is so great that a felony murder charge would most likely ensue. Parenthood does not grant additional 'rights' to the parents. It demands greater responsibility. Lastly, if 'viability' is the determining factor of constitutional protection and not life itself, then two troubling questions arise. 1) When does life begin to have value? 2) Who gets to decide this? The continued legalization of abortion not only poses an immediate threat to the lives of the unborn, but to the life of our country itself. If a government can indiscriminately decide who may live and who may not, then no one is truly safe. If the United States can decide that the lives of the unborn can be targeted, then the government can also attack Blacks, Latinos, those born with a mental or physical disability, the old, the young, and any other subcategory of people that the government deems unworthy of 'person-hood' and the constitutional freedoms thereof. If freedom is lost for one, freedom is lost for all. A country that 'deprives any person of life' will not remain a free country. The legalized killing of pre-born children is a crime against humanity and a threat to free society. The taking of an innocent life is not a 'women's health issue' or a 'right' it is a human rights violation. Hence, it is the duty of the American people and of the government to fight for the sanctity of life of ALL human life regardless of developmental stage, gender, ethnicity, race, orientation, religion, disability, or social status or any other factor. Therefore, we ask the American people to stand together in our petition to Congress to begin the process of setting this proposal into action. The American people demand it.

Protects Kids Privacy! No clear backpacks in cfisd
Cfisd is wanting to change the policy and make children in the Middle school and high school levels of school only be able to carry around clear backpacks. No mesh, only athletic backpacks(which must be put in lockers upon the arrival of school), and only 6x9 purses for girls. Cfisd claims this will help protect and make our Cy-Fair campuses a safer and more protected place to learn, but did they think about kids privacy. All kids items will be exposed to other peers in halls which can result in stolen/taken items. Kids today need their privacy. Instead of changing the backpack policy cfisd should invest in more security to make our campus’s a safer and better without possibly resulting in another possible altercation.

Farmers Insurance protects negligent declawing veterinarian so innocent cat suffers.
July 2019 Farmers Insurance refuses to step up for this innocent cat, who suffered from a declaw procedure and a botched spay surgery, in the hands of their negligent veterinarian client. More about this story- Chicken the Cat's horrific story This declawing vet, Dr Ellie Scott of Stringtown Animal Hospital in Grove City, Ohio is insured by Farmer's Insurance. This vet declawed and spayed Chicken (She is now with a new owner who named her Tabby) the cat in May of 2018. Chicken developed lots of issues with limping and pain from having her toe bones and claws sliced off. Another vet , Dr Ally Bond at Stringtown animal hospital said that Chicken's diagnosis was "possible phantom pain" and said no treatment was needed even though she clearly was having serious walking and pain issues from her declaw procedure. According to the cat owner, Dr Ellie Scott, the declawing vet, told her they had done all they could and she could transfer Chicken's records to another vet. Dr Scott escorted the cat owner out of the animal hospital on her final visit. Chicken (Tabby) had also been showing signs of being in heat for quite awhile even though Dr Scott had indicated she did a spay procedure. City the Kitty nonprofit paid $1016.27 for Chicken's follow-up doctor appointments to try to help her declaw issues and also for vet visits to try to diagnose what her other issues of showing signs of being in heat. The new veterinarian found that Chicken had bilateral flexor tendon contraction. This is a common and painful condition that most declawed cats develop that owners would never know about unless they had xrays done or if their cat was limping. Cats are masters at hiding their pain and suffering and usually only show it when they are in a severe state. The veterinarian said that when the toes contract after being declawed, over time, it shifts the ends of P2 so they are no longer cushioned by the toe pad. She said that they will see calluses build up where the bone is hitting the ground. This condition starts to become painful because they no longer have any cushioning. -------------------------------------------- Farmers Insurance refused to reimburse City the Kitty nonprofit for those bills. The Farmer's Insurance rep. said that they reviewed all the information and there isn't enough evidence to prove that Dr Scott did anything wrong. He said that Dr Scott told him that she did the spay and declaw correctly. (When there are no rules about a standard declaw procedure then no one is going to be wrong.) We asked this rep. about the spay and how the new surgeon found one whole ovary and part of the other ovary in Chicken (Tabby) the cat. He said that it is in question that Tabby and Chicken are the same cat. Yes, they actually think that there's a possibility that we went to all this trouble to transport Chicken to St Louis, switch her out with a different declawed cat who has 1 1/2 ovaries inside her, get a reputable vet to go along with this story, find a secret home for Chicken the cat, etc. The Farmers rep. said any correspondence from now on will be with one of their lawyers. A law that protects the rights of our pets
On April 6th my parents took our 2 year old cat to Rossmoyne Emergency Clinic because she started acting lethargic. They said that keeping her there with fluids and to run tests would be our best option. When I arrived I needed answers to which I did not receive. My question was whether or not the vet on staff thought that this was the best thing to do or an honest medically professional opinion on whether or not she had a good chance of surving. The cost for 2 days of treatment would amount to over 2500 dollars. My parents signed the papers agreeing to pay for treatment and to start it asap. They went to get the money and I asked the receptionist if they had started treatment and she said “no, they are waiting for the deposit”. In turn my cat laid without the iv fluids she needed until they received the money. When my parents returned with the money the said they were starting her on ivs now. Not even 5 minutes later another receptionist brings my baby out no ivs, for us to see. When i saw her i knew she was not coming back from this. They called at 5 am the next morning telling us that she had passed. We went in to arrange the cremation services and to get the rest of our 2500 dollars back. The receptionist told us that since we paid in cash we will be mailed a check for the remainder because they already deposited our money. After I wrote a review on their Facebook page they called and had our money. We went back to pick it up and our cat baby to have her creamted elsewhere. The owner of this establishment called my mother a liar after writing a review of what happened. This is a complete disgrace and unacceptable practice of Rossmoyne Emergency Clinic. Our pets deserve better than this.
