This petition is To ensure the medical fraternity is liable and responsible for their actions. I'm 29 years old and I love and adore children.. My husband and I never wanted to wait to start a family..and my dreams were shattered because of the negligence of doctors who played with my life. I lost healthy reproductive organs, because cloud nine hospitals - supposed to be one of the best for birthing and fertility in Bangalore decided to goof up during minor procedures that has ruined the best years of my life. In May 2013 I was asked by my then gynaec to get the HSG test because I hadn't conceived naturally. I was asked to go to Cloud Nine fertility because apparently they were the best . Dr. Uma who was supposed to do my procedure didn't even take the time to meet, inspite of me repeatedly asking to see her before they gave me the anaesthesia. Dr. Uma maheshwari left a piece of Gauze inside my vagina ,during the HSG test (hysterosalpingogram, or HSG is an important test of female fertility potential. The HSG test is a radiology procedure usually done in the radiology department of a hospital or outpatient radiology facility. It is very routine and is done within 45 minutes. It's usually the first step before any infertility treatment is started by gynaecologists. ). Very ironically my HSG results were normal. I had no tubal blockage. And they saw dye spillage from both tubes. She didn't prescribe any antibiotics ( which they should) and 11 days later I had to pull it out of my vagina because it had caused a plug. The gauze was full of pus and blood and we didn't know how that would ruin our lives in the coming months. At that time the clinic director for Cloud Nine fertility, underplayed the situation, told us that "whatever goes in will eventually come out" . They just refunded the amount for the procedure and that was it. Exactly 5 months later in January 2014 , while going in for routine scans for fertility treatments , they saw a massive infection in my left tube . We were so scared and we consulted several senior doctors who told us it was the gauze and there was no other option, but to operate . I was operated upon on July 2014 and they discovered a HAEMATOSALPHINX ( blood collection in the tube ) . This was thanks to the massive pelvic infection from the gauze. Here was where Dr. Suman Singh messed up. She didn't remove the clipped tube during the surgery. She left the dead tissue from the tube inside itself, ( which they should because generally as per all doctors opinions, nothing dead should be left behind in the body ). My troubles did not end there. In December I contracted very high fever and had massive pain on my left lower abdomen. In my scans with A doctor , (who was now looking after my case) a cyst was clearly visible and it was bigger than my uterus. He suspected it may be a chocolate cyst and said surgery was the only way to deal with this. On January 12th 2015 , upon opening me up , they were shocked to see that the tube, that was left behind had wrapped itself around the left ovary ( which had swollen to 3 times its size) and had become a haemorrhagic cyst bigger than my uterus at 7.5cms x 7.5 cms . There was also a lot of needle trauma from the July surgery . The surgery was life threatening surgery (6 hours) where I lost my left tube, left ovary . There was a lot of loss of blood and the cyst was on the verge of rupturing. Our doctor in plain words told my husband that "God has been kind to us and that another day and the cyst would have ruptured causing internal bleeding and eventually loss of life) I've had 3 surgeries , all before I could turn 29. These years should have been the best ,healthiest and fertile years of my life. I had healthy tubes , healthy ovaries which I've lost fully thanks to the negligence of these 2 doctors, who played around with my life. We've spent the last years running form pillar to post and visiting various senior doctors who were shocked when they heard about the incident with the gauze. It has also drained us emotionally mentally and financially. In India, fertility is not insured. Every surgery had to be paid from our pockets.. Surgeries mount to 1.5 lakhs to 2 lakhs on an average. It has taken a lot of courage to come out like this and bring it all out in the open, on social media, Twitter and Facebook. On the 14th of this month , we had a meeting at the same hospital , with only the two Doctors present. They made a mockery of our situation and the only thing they had to say was " how can we help you" !!Read more

Alright there? Our name is Rooster Tea, an extremely small community based team inspired by the largely successful company and network called Rooster Teeth. In short, yes we are just an unofficial British version of Rooster Teeth, with major emphasis on "unofficial"...
Even though we have tried to develop our name toward the UK community and everywhere else, we may have been slightly unsuccessful getting the name out there. We care for all things in a matter to which makes us a community and are a small faction of the ever-growing fan-base. However, we plan to make an end and get recognised.
Therefore, we propose this petition to get our name out there to as many people within the RT community. We do this simply out of love and affection for the purposes of entertainment. Getting acknowledged is our main priority at the moment, we don't ask for money or anything else, we just want the world to notice. We also like to show-boat the fact that we're British too. We're also polite, open to discussion and forum.
Want to be a part? Sign this petition! Or contact us! We don't bite. (contact@roostertea.com)
So with a goal in mind, chin-chin everyone. Here's to the best!

Indian economy is under tremendous strain due to Covid 19. To revive it, we need to improve both supply side and consumption side factors. While the government has announced a slew of measures to rationalise and improve supply side, it has been constrained by poor tax position and need to maintain good rating.
indian consumer can play a great role on consumption side factors. While we are also constrained by fall in income , we still can contribute by buying Swadeshi / Made in India products. We also do not want to support any economy which will fight a war with us.
Due to Covid, increasingly consumer is buying online where country of origin is unknown. We request the commerce ministry to pass an ordinance/ law to immediately make it mandatory for all items listed on e-commerce web sites to show country of origin. This will allow us not only to support our country but also make informed choice about quality of product.
I appeal to all of you to support this petition.

90 days of notice period in IT and ITes industry is cruel and creating a situation of bondage labour in India.
I have served software industry in leadership positions for many years now.
I personally know of many cases where people were not even getting interview calls because of their long notice period. They had to resign without having any offer in hand just to make themselves eligible for interviews. Imagine the stress and anxiety these people would go thru.
It is also causing huge productivity loss for the industry because when people are checked out how can they focus on work for 90 long days?
The long notice period is not helping our startups ecosystem because they are not able to find right talent quickly and at the same time employees are losing opportunities.
The 90 days of notice period is creating an artificial barrier for people to switch jobs nothing else.
India IT industry mostly serves US IT industry which has an "At will" employment policy. So there is no justification why Indian IT companies have 90 days as their notice period.
The same companies who have 90 days as their notice period expect people to join in less than 30 days which is just not fair. It is also a breach of equal employment opportunity act where people with 90 days of notice period are not invited for interviews.
Mr. Minister, we humbly request you to look into this issue and bring down notice period to 30 days which is more than enough to do a smooth transition. This will help Indian IT industry achive its potential.

Petition to agriculture minister, Finance Minister, IBPS chairman
UPDATE: We’ve listened to ALL of your feedback since the petition started in 2018 and view this as an opportunity to truly honor what Halloween is – a celebration of self-expression and unity. While we still believe an end-of-October Saturday observance will promote safety and increase the fun, this year we will be launching a national initiative designed to enhance the Halloween that we all know and love.
Instead of changing the date that American’s celebrate Halloween, we will be adding an additional day of festivities in partnership with Party City and other brands. National Trick or Treat Day will take place annually on the last Saturday of October so families across the country can participate in community parades, throw neighborhood parties and opt for daytime Trick or Treating.
We will launch the #ALLoween campaign designed to support the all-day celebration of National Trick or Treat Day AND the time-honored traditions of Halloween on October 31st.
With your support, we will create a safer, longer, bigger celebration for ALL by making National Trick or Treat Day official!
Sign the National Trick or Treat Day Petition!
It's time for a Safer, Longer, Stress-Free Celebration! Let's ADD a Halloween celebration to the last Saturday of October!
3,800 Halloween-related injuries each year. Talk to your kids about safety before they head out!
82% of parents don’t use high visibility aids on their costume, be sure to incorporate reflective tape, glow sticks, finger lights or light up accessories
63% of children don’t carry a flashlight while they are trick-or-treating. Grab a clip-on light if they don’t want to carry one! Children are more than twice as likely to be hit by a car and killed on Halloween. Discuss safety, pre-plan a route, stay on sidewalks and use crosswalks
65% of parents don’t discuss Halloween safety with their children. Talk with your kids and offer ways to ensure a fun and safe experience
12% of children 5 and under go trick or treating without the supervision of an adult. Grab a costume and take advantage of some good ol' fashioned family bonding!
51% Of Millennials say Halloween is their favorite holiday, why cram it into 2 rushed evening weekday hours when it deserves a full day!?!

Last week Amazon abruptly removed several books which represented alternative views on homosexuality. This included a variety of personal testimonies (autobiographies), religious texts, Reparative Therapy, psychological research, and addiction recovery resources. This is tantamount to religious discrimination and discrimination based on sexual orientation. We are outraged that a smear campaign by one individual (who stated here that he never read these books) could convince Amazon to censor all books, audiobooks, and Kindle material related to our experiences and viewpoints. For every major issue there are two sides to each story. For one side to be bullied and censored on every platform is counter to the values we have long held in common with Amazon. We demand an immediate reversal of this decision and the restoration of these and all other books that were removed on this topic:
