Petition to Boris Johnson, Matt Hancock, UK Government, Department of Health UK
Boris Johnson clearly stated the NHS would have 'everything it needs' to deal with the current Covid 19 outbreak.
NHS staff do not have adequate supplies of PPE to protect themselves and their patients. I want to bring this to the attention of the government and Department of Health to ensure we protect our workforce and ensure we are able to care for our patients.
NHS staff are in the frontline - nurses, doctors, paramedics, cleaners and domestic staff, porters, radiologists, lab staff. They are all caring for the people, equip them to do their jobs please.Read more

Petition to Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Dr Santanu Sen, Narendra Modi
The real warriors fighting COVID19 selflessly need us.
Do you know them?
Do you know the people who are working day and night to ensure the Corona virus doesn’t spread?
They are the ones running check-ups at airports and hospitals. They are looking after those who have been quarantined. Yes, I am talking about our nurses, doctors and other health workers.
The COVID19 has caused an international health emergency. Health Workers are at the front of our fight against the dangerous disease. But, are they safe?
While we are working from home and can cut all our physical contact to stay safe, health workers do not have that option. They have put their lives and health in danger for the country and its citizens.
If not for them and their service, we cannot remain safe.
Many of these health workers do not have proper safety gear. The masks are not of high quality. They are very prone to getting infected themselves.
Cases across the world have already come to light. India has seen it’s very first one too. In Karnataka, a 60-year-old doctor from Kalaburagi has now been tested positive for coronavirus. He was treating a coronavirus patient.
This should be an alarm for us.
Please sign my petition asking the Health Ministry to ensure proper safety and precautions for health workers in hospitals, quarantine centers and airports.
They should immediately do the provide the following:
Face mask of good quality which prevents infection
Face shield or goggles
Clean, non-sterile, disposable long-sleeved gown/a plastic apron and roll up sleeves
Pair of gloves
Please sign my petition because our health workers need to stay safe and protected. They have families to go back to. We need them.
Support me by signing and sharing this petition before one case turns into a massive problem.
Come together for our country’s health warriors!
to steal or damage life-saving equipment such as defibrillators and lifebuoys. The Life Saving Equipment Bill 2017 imposes strict new penalties, including a fine of up to €50,000 and a jail term of up to 5 years for anyone convicted of interfering with life-saving equipment.
Routinely we hear of a result of people stealing or interfering with these essential pieces of life-saving equipment support to lobby all Oireachtas members, especially the Government members, to ensure that the Life Saving Equipment Bill 2017 becomes law. Read more

Petition to Michigan House of Representatives Education Committee
Our children do not have the right to a SAFE education. My name is Tabatha Kerr. I started this petition shortly after losing my daughter Lilliana after a recalled cafeteria table fell on her at school while she was sitting on the floor playing with a ball on January 20, 2017.
I've made it my mission to fight for yearly school inspections to prevent childhood injury and death in the state of Michigan ever since. It's been a while since I have updated everyone through this journey, so here it goes.
I'm potentially on my fourth attempt at the fight for Lilliana's Law, and I need your help once again to urge our legislators that our children should have the right to come home after school in the same condition, if not better. This is an urgent public health and safety matter. But unfortunately, Michigan does not mandate yearly school inspections, which, left ignored, could lead to devastating consequences.
THE GOOD: I've met some of the most inspiring families who understand what it's like to lose a third of your family's present and future because of the lack of integrity of current policies in our education system, supporters who have met me at the capitol or collecting petitions, people who like you have gotten 6,896 signatures and counting (impressive), my friends from the National Parents Union, and the support of my children, family, and friends, all of which I wouldn't have gotten this far without you. I'm honestly forever grateful.
THE BAD: during this journey, our children's safety is opposed by Michigan's department of health and human services, the department of education, The Michigan Association of School Boards, Superintendents, the association of secondary principals, and most state representatives during my three attempts.
THE UGLY: This is where it gets dire and requires everyone's attention; our school infrastructure throughout MI, the U.S, and territories are graded D+ without needs and conditions and no complete database that counts and analyzes our children's injuries and deaths, whether from infrastructure, disease, or violence+ related injuries and deaths classified as "Never Events" in the education system. There's no such thing as a kid OSHA in the second-largest infrastructure sector in the United States.Unfortunately, due to our school's poor infrastructure, it has an unknown future by 2026, nationwide. This has been limiting our capabilities for preventative measures. Yearly school inspections would be a great start to finding solutions by addressing the cause-and-effect relationship between infrastructure and child-relatedinjuries and deaths involving the education system.
Too often have I read a cookie-cutter statement saying, "MOST OF OUR SCHOOLS ARE SAFE," when a child is injured or killed in their school regardless of cause. Now is the time to prove it. A zero-tolerance policy governs our children in the education system, but when said child is injured or killed, it's 100% TOLERATED until now.
Please SIGN and SHARE this petition. NEVER AGAIN will a child face a traumatic injury or death on school property.
References"The Book," as I call it, outlines childhood injury and death education system using previous Lilliana's Law bill packages, research articles, newspaper articles, and more that can and should be used at a local, state, and federal level to help find solutions to prevent a broad scope of tragedies. This book was used during my last testimony at the Lansing, fighting for yearly school inspections to prevent childhood injuries and death on March 23, 2021

Petition to Mountain Equipment Coop Board of Directors
UPDATE: We're now seeking contributions to a legal fund to fight to save MEC. You can contribute at our GoFundMe here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/save-mec-legal-fund
When you sign this petition, you will be given a chance to pay to promote this petition through Change.org. That donation won't go to our legal fund, as it goes to promote this petition to get more people to sign, and pays for some campaign support. It is your choice to donate there.MEC announced today that it is to be privatized and acquired by Kingswood Capital Management.
This decision to take one of Canada's treasured co-op businesses private was made by the board with no mandate from or consultation of the 5.4 million MEC members across Canada.
We call upon the MEC Board and Management team to cancel this decision to sell to a private equity firm - and engage with and consult MECs members.
This decision to privatize MEC will take away democratic decision making power from the MEC members - and put at risk the socially-conscious cooperative outfitter that MEC is.Read more
