Discover has offered Price Protection as a benefit to its card holders for years. This has been one of the primary reasons why people prefer to apply for and use their Discover Card.
Effective October 31, 2018 Discover has chosen to remove this benefit.
If discover chooses to cancel these that still offers similar benefits.

Most of us have heard this iconic chorus. The Eraserheads' timeless hit Ang Huling El Bimbo, which is drenched in sentimental appeal, is still as relevant today as it was ten years ago, as are the majority of OPM songs that endured through the years and established themselves as classics.
Music defines and reflects the culture of a nation. We are all aware of how important music has been in our lives throughout history. In the Philippines, we have our own "Original Pilipino Music," or OPM – which refers to songs composed and performed by Filipino artists.
The musicians and singers of the Philippines are among the top performers in the world thanks to their distinctive, solid vocals and impeccable harmony. Today's generation, however, is less supportive of Our Original Pinoy Music (OPM). The majority of people are more inclined to international artists’ songs and albums. Their music is unique and it is new to the ears of the listeners, which is why they catch the attention of many.
Furthermore, there are underrated OPM singers that deserve to be discovered. The time and efforts of OPM artists are not so appreciated and fostered. We can become as famous and well-known as Western music and Korean pop if only this year’s generation begin to support and appreciate Original Pilipino Music around the globe. We must support our local music to ensure that OPM is acknowledged again.
Empowering local musicians not only inspires them to pursue their dreams but also promotes music education and keeps local businesses prospering. In this campaign, we highlight activities that feature local artists and offer them a stage to entertain the community. This will also make the OPM rise globally. In order to achieve the campaign's goals, we must give life to underrated local music that our musicians worked hard to publish by:
Streaming their music on various platforms
Publishing the artists' albums through social media.
Showcase new local artists and give them a platform to feature their songs.
OPM is still one of the most diverse, yet distinctive genres of music, and many people are still able to enjoy its songs and embrace them with passion. It widens the relationship between music, rhythm, and beats into something that unites individuals despite differences in age, status, and background by bridging indirectly connecting stories from many decades.
Displaying unrelenting resilience that is similar to that of its artists and those who continue to support it, OPM continues to have a strong presence in the media. It still has not been defeated by obstacles – not yet, not now, and not ever.Read more

Many students at Elsik would agree that the wifi here isn’t the best. During this day and age, many assignments are done online and barely on paper. At Elsik we need a better and more stable connection so we can put our technology to good use.
We think Elsik High School deserves a better and more stable connection, frequent crashes and slow internet speeds don’t allow us to complete our assignments in the minimum time we are given so please sign our petition to bring us a more stable internet provider so we can be successful in our schoolwork.
By establishing a great connection for our school, the learning environment can grow into better form.
A fact that we found from an article about how a good wifi connection promotes better student engagement by the National Math and Science Initiative shows that blended learning styles keep students focused longer and makes them excited to learn more, especially for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) subjects.
Not only does a better wifi connection benefit students, it can also help teachers by them being able to create their own way of teaching their students the lesson. It can help the students to learn at their own pace and actually understand the lesson instead of it being spoken to them.
If we can pull this off, the credit won’t only go to the creators, it will go to all of the supporters who believe in this change. This would be huge if we can make this happen, not only are we helping students of the present, we will definitely be helping the new classes of students who step foot into Elsik High School.
As we know there are different learning styles, for instance visual, audio, and physical. These styles are often found in many students and with a better internet connection, It helps students and teachers be able to perform at their maximum abilities. It may even help students get a better understanding of the work. At Elsik there are many different races, cultures, and languages. The internet could help translate the work they don't understand.
We think that with a better connection , the relationships , assignments , and differences can be settled and completed. Everyone in the school can benefit we hope you can believe too and sign our petition.Read more
