His charges werealso dropped from attempted murder to assault with a deadly weapon. It’s a shame that until themedia is involved the system will take advantage of many African Americans, including my son.Clearly this case was never a case of attempted or premeditated murder. While hiding in a smallbathroom with two individuals, Donte’s roommate accidently received a one centimeter, non-life threatening laceration.The cops also lied in the police report stating that Donte said he wanted to kill the cops, but theaudio from the body cameras clearly show that Donte never stated that, but that he said hewanted to sue them for how aggressive they were why arresting him. This on the cops behalf isperjuryThe police report even states from the defendant (who is Caucasian) they were aware he washaving a mental breakdown in which he thought someone wanted to kill him and they remember specifically that Donte said he was there to protect them. (This is Documented in the police report) Yet the D.A. assigned to this case is John Sinclair still hasn’t dropped thecharges.Donte has no criminal record (not even a simple speeding ticket) He is 29 years old and is alicensed Insurance Agent, Real Estate Agent, and Luxury Car Salesman in the state of California.Since his release Donte’s pending felony charges has prevented him from being able to work inthe Professional/Corporate sales industry that he has built his career upon but has managed tojoin the Carpenters Union and has been working and going to therapy consistently.My son is represented by Attorney Christian Kim. My entire family and many people fromacross the world have been advocating that my son’s charges be dropped. When shopping for toys, either for your own child or others, it is always fairly straightforward. What about if you were shopping for a child with special needs or an autistic child? When you are in that position and you know someone who suffers from sensory overload, it can be hard to find appropriate toys and games for them. This petition is for toy stores to take into consideration of children who are prone to sensory overload and sensitivity.An example of this may be displayed as an over-sensitivity or an under-sensitivity around certain sensory stimuli. Sound overload affects the noises that children hear, sometimes children with sensory overload cannot bear to hear loud noises and will cover their ears, this can also happen with sight, especially flashing or bright lights. I am petitioning for there to be a simple symbol on the boxes/packaging of toys that lets parents, guardians, and anyone know that the toy includes lights and sounds.This is not always visible and will save a lot of time and energy when buying gifts for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) children, or any child suffering from sensory sensitivity.This symbol will not single out these children, as anyone can buy the toy, rather it will help people to identify which toys will be more suitable for their child. To identify this, we could use an image of a speaker with a red line through it which will confirm the toy is not noisy, and for light, we could do the same but with a light bulb. These symbols could sit parallel with the age-appropriate note on the box of the toy, for example, “2+ years” as it will then be easy to recognise and find. This will help a lot of people who struggle to find appropriate toys for their children. This petition is calling for toy stores to amend their toy production practices and add symbols that indicate how noisy and/or bright the toy is.

Young women and children are forced into having harmful procedures to remove partial if not all, of their outer genitalia for non-medical purposes. FGM is practiced nearly half of all African countries and is found in some parts of the Middle East and Asia. FGM affects about 125 million women and children worldwide each year. About 228,000 of these girls are from the United States and are sent overseas by their families each year to get a procedure. These procedures lead to infection, infertility abnormal menstruation, abscesses, risk of mother/child mortality, and countless other complications. This is a clear violation of human rights due to the forced physical and emotional harm put on these women and children for no medical reasoning. Read more
