Коллективное обращение от жителей города Воркуты и волонтёров Общества защиты бездомных животных в г.Воркута. К нам поступила информация от администрации города о том, что собак, живущих в приюте, собираются усыплять через полгода после того, как они попадают в приют. Фактически убить могут более половины животных, живущих в питомнике. Сейчас готовятся нормативные документы, чтобы начать уничтожать собак, несмотря на то, что законом запрещено умерщвление здоровых животных. Также на территории города действует судебное решение, согласно которому администрацию обязали организовать приют и запретили убивать собак.Между тем, на протяжении более трех лет собаки приюта содержатся исключительно силами волонтеров за их счет и счет неравнодушных воркутинцев. Но, к сожалению, обычные люди не могут сами потянуть коммунальные услуги, чтобы совсем не зависеть от администрации.В связи с этим мы просим от руководителя администрации города Игоря Гурьева при разработке мер по регулированию численности бездомных собак действовать только в рамках закона и полностью исключить эвтаназию здоровых и не агрессивных животных в Воркуте. А также мы требуем, чтобы не при каких обстоятельствах не уничтожались собаки, живущие сегодня в приюте.Мы просим, чтобы проблема с бродячим животными решалась гуманным способом по средствам отлова, стерилизации и частичного выпуска животных в естественную среду, а часть собак должна оставаться в приюте To President of the Russian Federation Putin V.V. Collective appeal from Vorkuta residents and the Homeless Animals Protection Society volunteers in Vorkuta. We received information from the city administration that the shelter's workers are going to put dogs to sleep six months after they get into the orphanage. In fact, more than half of the animals living in the shelter can be killed. Now regulatory documents are being prepared to start destroying dogs, despite the law prohibits killing of healthy animals. According to a court decision, the city administration was ordered to organize shelter and was forbidden killing of dogs. Meanwhile, for more than three years, the dogs shelter are kept solely by the volunteer’s forces and partial Vorkuta residents at their money. Unfortunately, ordinary people cannot afford to pay public utilities expenses for not being depended on the administration completely. Therefore, we ask the city Major Igor Guriev to act only according to the law developing regulation measures of amount of homeless animals and completely exclude an euthanasia of healthy and non-aggressive animals in Vorkuta. We also demand that the dogs living in the shelter now must not be destroyed under any circumstances. We ask the local authorities to solve the problem with stray animals in a humane way by catching, sterilizing and partially releasing animals into the natural environment and some dogs should remain in the shelter.Read more
