Current legislation is unbalance in favor of insurance companies and self-insured employers. Under the current laws, injured or sick individuals have no recourse to decisions made by corporations. These people have face delays, denials, harassment and intimidation. These laws need to be balanced in order for these companies to treat the sick or injured fairly.
