The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Grant general amnesty to all undocumented migrants

    1. Petition by

      Asia Pacific Mission for Migrants

About 8 million migrants work in Saudi Arabia, but enjoy very few human rights. These migrants great contribute to the economic success and stability of the society. Most recently, the government began a crackdown on undocumented migrants living in the country. We call on the government to grant general amnesty to all undocumented migrants, followed by a general review of all migration policies. Further, it should ratify the UN Convention

Think of it. We are blessed with technology that would be indescribable to our forefathers. We have the wherewithal, the know-it-all to feed everybody, clothe everybody, and give every human on Earth a chance. We know now what we could never have known before -- that we now have the option for all humanity to make it successfully on this planet in this lifetime. Whether it is to be Utopia or Oblivion will be a touch-and-go relay race right up to the final moment.

      -- R. Buckminster Fuller

Let's be clear. The planet is not in jeopardy. We are in jeopardy. We haven't got the power to destroy the planet - or to save it. But we might have the power to save ourselves.”

Undocumented migrants are not criminals. They are either forced to become undocumented or are victims of trafficking and ended as undocumented workers in the countries where they are.

They don't loot for a living, they do not take anything that is not theirs or without laboring for it.

Hypocritically, these governments allow undocumented migrants so that businesses can exploit them and pay them less. And when they don't need them, they will hound them like animals. The KSA government and the likes should be shamed in the international community for doing this.

Protect the basic human rights of undocumented migrants. Stop treating undocumented migrants like criminals.

The government forced them to go out to work to keep the Philippine economy afloat, now its about time they do something for OFW's sake. They served, contributed, and build two countries at a time in their life, where are those countries now when they need them? Where are your conscience? Do you even have one? We encourage Filipino people all over the world, we can do it, yes we can!!! Please sign the petition now.
