Before you jump to conclusions I want to first ask you a question. What does a president do? Is it a figurehead used soley to market shirts? No, but that is surely what it seems like. 

Here's a definition if you need one:

"An executive in the company who acts as the ruler of a company or brand on the web.  The president builds and monitors multiple shirt websites generated in blogs, forums, social networks, etc.  S/he becomes the authorised voice of the company.

Besides requiring a thorough knowledge of rules and netiquette used in various media, the role of the president requires common sense, the right aptitude and the ability to make decisions regarding the company's image or brand.  For example, the president has to be able to knock on the CEO’s (who is also Schooly D) door and ask him or her to intervene in an online forum."

Let's take a look at what TSD's president has contributed for the past year.

-Monthly updates with no clear answers. (Defininive announcements/answers are usually posted on the TSD website or at the beggining of an update, not on the TSDIRC.)

-Forum posts that belittle concerned users and are almost never serious.

-TSD members have essentially become useless.

-Any questions that a user PMs are ignored unless they directly praise the tiger shirt.

-Little to no moderation. (Think about all the trolling you see in #tsd)

-August 28th, 2014 (Splash Bash) is a marketing ploy

Now I bet you are thinking to yourself, "Gee if I was the president I wouldn't deal with these spoiled users either."

Now imagine being the Community Manager of the United States and saying, "Gee I really don't think the American people deserve a stable economy because all they do is complain."

 

See what I am getting at? If you have a JOB you should do that job. This petition's goal is to have Schooly D be removed from his position so that we can get a competent and qualified individual. This man is NOT qualified to be in this position.

We want someone who actually INTERACTS with the TSD and takes their job seriously.

We deserve better so please sign this petition if you want TSD the way it was instead of the way it is now.
