Save The Dutch House Pub in Eltham from being turned into a McDonalds

The Issue

It's a great pub that people like! The Dutch House pub is a popular pub sustaining many different local clubs and groups and there are no other pubs in the vicinity. The nearest pub is a kilometre by road. The Dutch House is a fine, impressive, unique, locally listed, landmark building of architectural and historical significance. The brewers engaged a team of Woolwich architects and sent them to Holland in the 1930s to learn and imitate the Dutch Style of building. Any changes to the outside would ruin a truly unique building. Furthermore, a McDonalds so close to the nearby primary school would have adverse impact on children's health. We don't need another burger bar, especially as there are two McDonalds close by.
