All of the major Sun campuses have had names for the conference rooms. Usually, each building has a theme for the conference room names, such as "candy" or "games". The names give each building an identity of its own and are easier to remember than simply room numbers. Humans vastly prefer names to numbers and our computers are more than capable of handling both names and numbers. Now that Oracle owns Sun, Oracle should preserve this Sun tradition that is both well liked and widely used by employees on the Santa Clara campus. Removing conference room names will neither make us happier nor more productive.
