Nintendo, I love Nintendo but they have one giant problem. They make a ton of fun multiplayer games and you can't play any of them online with the exception of smash bros and Mario kart! For example look at all of the new super Mario bros games. Extremely fun co op games but unless I can get a bunch of people over at my house There is absolutely no way I can play it co op! It's a shame really. Another example, say Nintendoland. I'm having a blast in animal crossing sweet day but to really enjoy it to its fullest potential I need 5 players. I'm an only child and trying to get 4 freinds over is extremely rare. The game is almost Impossible to play and fully enjoy. One more example and then I think I've made my point. I meet a bunch of really cool people over the Internet and we all want to play Mario Party. Our only option is to netplay the N64 games since we don't know each other in real life. In netplay not only do I have to illegally download the game so I can play it on my computer, but it's extremely laggy and hard to set up. Now don't take this as me asking for onine virtual console, though now that I think of it that would be awesome, paying $10 and then having the option to play any of your virtual console games with folks online, but that's beyond the point. Now I'm not sure if it's too late to save Wii Party U and Super Mario 3D World from suffering the local multiplayer Nintendo fate but I want to do whatever I can to stop that. I want to be able to turn on my wii u, pop wii party u in the disc drive and BAM! I can play with my freinds without having to do much. Now Nintendo I understand that the servers will cost money and it will cost you more to run these things, but in the end all it's going to do is make you more money. If I'm playing local co op on new super Mario bros u then I'm playing with one copy of the disc. If I'm playing onine each person playing has a disc meaning that multiplies the sales. In the end though I'm doing this both to help consumers and Nintendo. It's a win win situation, Nintendo gets more money and the consumer can play the game online! A few more things though. If you want to use the hash tag #nintendo_online then feel absolutely free, as it's going to be connected to this. Also let's be creative with this. Make fan-art, cartoons, videos, whatever you want to get the word out- we want Nintendo games to have online multiplayer and have that be an expected normal thing! Now this doesn't mean take away local multiplayer, far from it but at the end of the day all I have to say is MAKE SUPER MARIO 3D WORLD AND WII PARTY U ONLINE!!!!
