Cardinal Roger Mahony was the central figure in a decades-long criminal conspiracy in Los Angeles to cover up crimes against children committed by priests under his supervision. He willfully and knowingly conspired to protect child rapists and pedophiles, enabled child rapists and pedophiles to continue preying on children in their parishes, and prevented the authorities from accessing vital information they needed to bring the perpetrators to justice. He has spent his tenure in Los Angeles trying to protect only his "reputation" and that of his fellow priests -- instead of children.

On behalf of the hundreds and hundreds of young kids who were raped and psychologically destroyed by predators in the church, and enabled and protected by Roger Mahony to this very day, we say ENOUGH.

To this very DAY, he is living in residence at St. Charles Borromeo Church in North Hollywood, CA. He is permitted to live there, free of charge, and allowed to serve mass. St. Charles Borromeo has an elementary school attached to it. The children at this school should NOT be forced to attend school on the very premises of the man who is the living symbol of the child sex abuse scandal in the Catholic Church.
Parents at this school are forced to undergo Virtus Training, which is to help prevent molestation. The Virtus program was started in LA IN RESPONSE TO ROGER MAHONY'S failures! Ironic, right?
Time for Roger to leave. He can go anywhere he wants, but he DOES NOT BELONG AT A CHURCH OR AT A SCHOOL.
