The films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are the most bold and exciting movies today. In less than a decade, the MCU has dominated the box office time and again. But there are other superhero movies, so why do we keep coming back to the MCU? The big reason, whether general moviegoers know it or not, is that Marvel Studios has historically trusted the vision of its filmmakers. It seems like in the wake of having a couple of the highest grossing films of all time under their belt at this point, Marvel's gotten nervous that they have to water their product down in order for people to enjoy it.

What they should realize is that we love their films because of how original and creative they are, not in spite of that fact. Trying to homogenize the vision of Edgar Wright, one of the most undoubtedly original and talented filmmakers working today is a huge mistake, not only for "Ant-Man", but for their company as a whole. A studio built on the trust of originality will crumble under the weight of uniformity. Please reconsider this move and, if it's at all possible at this point, invite Edgar back to direct he and Joe Cornish's script.
