It's an undeniable fact judging from chess tournaments that is held almost every weekend in and around Malaysia. Chess has grown by leaps and bound in Malaysia and has become more than a passing hobby or pastime for more and more Malaysians are taking up the game especially the young, and yet The Star newspaper decides to take away the only chess column in the country. This is seriously wrong and we the chess community want Quah Seng Sung's chess column to be reinstated again.
