We should not be forced to take part in this new "fitness" program brought up by the Board of Education. Instead, we should be allowed to have our usual Lunch 1/Lunch 2 groups in our usual areas. Do not break us up into smaller groups, so we can start with your proposed "fitness" activites. We do not need them. We never needed them. A program like this is unfair to other students, and students like me. This is not even close to being necessary and many other students will not have this type of program take place. In our student schedules, we have our own designated period for Physical Education. There is a specific reason for us to have our own lunch time. It is to unwind from our classes. To socialize with friends. To let off steam. To relax. Don't make us even more stressed out. Please take it into consideration to cancel or remove the fitness program from Issac E. Young. We don't need more physical activity to help us learn "more", we need more one on one activity with the teachers.

I would also like to add, that with the upcoming New York State English Language Arts and Mathematics Test in April of 2014, you should allow students to use the library or computer rooms as study labs in order to prepare ourselves.
