Stop the Thames Valley Police campaign to close G's Wine Bar in Bicester

The Issue

G's Wine Bar is a well-managed and popular independent local hostelry in Bicester, Oxfordshire. Owner George Smith has always abided by the terms of his license and cooperated with the local police during his 25 year tenure, yet he faces the very real prospect of having that license revoked.

This is because he is being held to be solely responsible by Thames Valley Police for all the drink-related incidents in the town which, as anyone familiar with the area will know, is totally unfair. G's Wine Bar doesn't want to be treated any differently from other hostelries in the area but the proprietor and his customers believe that it is. We the undersigned ask that the Police and local council adopt a more even-handed approach to tackling drink-related incidents in the area.
