Resign
The Issue
Bob DeCarolis has accomplished many things during his time at OSU, such as raising Reser and the basketball practice facility. However, these accomplishments barely keep us competitive with our opponents, and each took far long to accomplish. As well, OSU continually follows what the other Pac-12 schools do (generally 5-10 years behind them) instead of leading. The programs he does get credit for, such as baseball and football, are mostly due to the coaches who built them, as both Casey and Riley were in charge before Bob DeCarolis arrived. He has made some good hires (gymnast, wrestling), but has also made poor decisions regarding Jay John and LaVonda Wagner that cost the revenue producing football team two wins (Penn State/TCU) and continues to follow this path with his unwarranted contract extension to Craig Robinson. Bob DeCarolis is also unwilling to hire innovative employees or allow alumni to aid in helping build OSU to its fullest.
