Mt. Gox is widely-recognised outside the Bitcoin community as being the "flagship" of Bitcoin exchanges worldwide.

The company has appeared to be in trouble for some time but no clarification, backed up by evidence, has been received from them.

This has led to a situation where the price of Bitcoin on the Mt. Gox exchange is reflecting diminishing faith in the company, rather than the genuine market price of Bitcoin.

As a result the entire Bitcoin economy is being damaged by what appears to be the collapse of one company.

Please will you immediately suspend all data reported from the Mt. Gox echange, pending clarification regarding the company's situation?
