The #StateOfTheEnvironmentReport
Today Tanya Plibersek (the Federal Minister for the Environment) released the State of the Environment Report. You can watch her speech on iView, or read the Report yourself, it's a confronting read.
This extends to mammals, birds, reptiles, insects and more. #ZombieDAs are letting developer's sneak past our current Environmental Laws and Local Councils are claiming their hands are tied. "Habitat loss & clearing" are one of the 2 key pressures that have caused the most extinction of Australian terrestrial species since the beginning of colonisation. This report shows we have to take action now!
Please support our GoFundMe campaign
We'd like to thank all the people that have been kind enough to support our GoFundMe campaign. If you haven't already donated, please do. Even if it's only a few dollars, every donation helps us take action!
And please take another moment to share our petition far and wide. Now you've signed the petition, this is the best way you can help us have a real impact to save these habitats and all the carbon they are capturing.
