Add an option on Zillow.com for wheelchair accessible housing

Zillow remains one of the only online housing websites that fails to provide an option for individuals in wheelchairs to search for accessible housing. Title III of the ADA (American Disability Act) requires public accommodation to provide goods and services to people with disabilities on an equal basis with the rest of the general public.
Along with these legal requirements, Zillow is neglecting to recognize the moral and ethical implications of inclusivity. Apartment hunting is a stressful experience for all; these added obstacles create unnecessary and sometimes impossible housing conditions when options are limited. Individuals using wheelchairs are being forced to exhaust their resources by performing the extensive searches that sites such as Zillow are designed to simplify. Please consider the impact that such circumstances can create for this demographic. By providing an explicitly available option for wheelchair compliant apartments, Zillow would be adhering to equal access for all.
We formally request Zillow add an accurate and functioning search filter on its website for wheelchair accessible home and apartment listings that follows the Level 3: Wheelchair Accessible guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in their Accessibility Index. Please refer to pages 22-23 of Accessibility of America’s Housing Stock: Analysis of the 2011 American Housing Survey (AHS) https://www.huduser.gov/portal/sites/default/files/pdf/accessibility-america-housingStock.pdf for a comprehensive definition of what constitutes a Level 3: Wheelchair Accessible unit.
