The year was 2005, a year that marked the beginning of an era at home where without fault, "Day of Reckoning 2" was played daily for hours and hours. This continued well into 2012 even with new wrestling games being released; none could compare to DOR2. It is in all aspects of gameplay and design the purest form of wrestling gameplay I have ever experienced. Sadly, the series was discontinued and so went our communal joy and passion for wrestling video games; no other can compare. I petition for Yuke's, THQ, and Nintendo to bring back Day of Reckoning series! Keep the same control configuration, the same counter commands, the entertaining and nerve racking special move combos! Everything about how DOR2 was built is perfect; my simple request is the graphics be updated to today's standards. This would make it the most sold wrestling game of all time!
