Year 2 wants the option of Russian 1 as an individual choice

We who start year 2 after the summer have the opportunity to choose different individual choices. We have then received information about what choices are available and have seen that it is not possible to study Russian 1. 

Some of our thoughts we have on this

• We who make this petition are thinking about why this is not available while e.g. Danish 1 is.
• We have also heard that there are more than us who would have been eager to choose Russian 1 if it had been available.
• If the range of those individual choices is not interesting to the students, the students will choose what seems to be the "easiest" thing they have heard from the older students.
• We think it is important that those who are interested in languages have the opportunity to have the chance to study what they are interested in, which in this case is Russian.
• There are many we have heard of who also want to read Russian who are not at all hungry for any of the other individual choices, we feel the same.

Vi förväntar oss att skolan ska göra något åt detta i och med att vi anser detta som ett problem som också kan röra andra som också tycker att utbudet gällande individuella val inte är det bästa. Eleverna kommer inte vara motiverade till att lära sig, om det de har valt inte är ett dugg intressant.
