What YouTube should change

Thank you all for signing our petition. Besides the current issue the bottom line is that the entire process how YouTube treats their "Partners" is very questionable. After years of what basically is some sort of working relationship, YouTube ends it, not even bothering to send out an email. Make the process of account suspension transparent, instead of hiding behind citing at broad TOS violations. Use existing process in regards to community standing and copyright. That's right there is an existing system in place, which basically states that your account may be terminated when you have 3 ongoing copyright strikes. For instance since we setup the channel in January 2012 we had 2 copyright strikes, 1 from HBO and another one from a public email account claiming to represent National Geographic. However, that video is still available on various other channels. There were more copyright claims in the past on our other channel, which turned out to be false es well. There should be at least the option to access own content, after account suspension, everything else is just a very unfair practise.
