YouTube was just sued recently for violating children's privacy by collecting their data, likely through their new AI age verification policy. The amount they will have to pay is 30 million USD. While it's somewhat cheap (It's like 0.003% of their total yearly outcome), this is still good news. While it may or may not go away at this point, due to many countries pushing for age verification laws, it could still go away in the future. Let's hope that happens.

This is great news!

Keep sharing, and if we probably still get enough signatures, the more likely YouTube is to remove their policy. What we should also hope for is that the UK's Online Safety Act (and all other Internet censorship laws) gets blocked/repealed. Thank you!
