Petition updateSupport Funding to Cure Paralysis by Passing the PA SCI Disability Research Bill
Take Action TODAY! Call or Email PA Representatives!

PA for the Cure
13 Dec 2017
Good Morning!
Today, PA Cure Advocacy Network members are headed to Harrisburg to ask our State Senators and Representatives to take action on SB 31 / HB 385, The Pennsylvania Spinal Cord Disability Research Grant Program and allocate funding for research towards curative treatments of spinal cord injuries (SCI). While we brave the cold temperatures and go door to door in the Capitol to educate our state representatives on the need for funding of SCI research, we have just one favor to ask of you…
If you are reading this message, please commit to calling or emailing 3 individuals today to ask for their support of Senate Bill 31 (for the Senators) or House Bill 385 (for the Representatives). If you aren’t sure which is which, just ask on each phone call/email for support of Senate Bill 31/House Bill 385. From experience, each call usually takes about 45 seconds. We are asking for less than one minute! All you need to say/write is, “I am calling to ask Senator/Representative ________ to support SB 31 / HB 385 because someone I care about is living with a spinal cord injury.” From there, you can share any personal stories you’d like, but that one sentence is all that is needed. You can contact your own representatives, or pick several from the list at https://paforthecure.wordpress.com/contact/.
Each and every phone call or email makes a difference!! We will make a great impact if emails and phone calls are coming in while we are visiting the Capitol.
Thank you and Happy Holidays!
