"The Jersey Coast Heritage Museum at Sandlass House, Inc. wants to thank each of you who signed our Change.org Petition. We are pleased to report that almost 1,200 of you did so. We forwarded the results and your many supportive comments to both Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D, NJ 6th District), and to National Park Service Superintendent Jennifer Nersesian, who is responsible for the Gateway National Recreation Center at Sandy Hook. We have scheduled follow-up meetings with Supt. Nersesian to discuss our plans to re-purpose the Sandlass House.
"Our ultimate goal of creating a cultural and educational center, a Beacon of Welcome, at the Sandlass House has great momentum, but we still need your help. We are asking you each to consider the following:
- send us an email so we can send you our on-line newsletter each month to keep you abreast of our efforts
- volunteer to help us. How? We could use your ideas and time for a variety of fund-raising efforts, public outreach, etc.
- $$$$ talks. Any donation you can make to the JCHM will help save this historic landmark.
You can mail us a check in any amount to JCHM, PO Box 3145, Sea Bright, NJ 07760; or
We've set up a convenient PayPal account at: PayPal.me/JCHMuseumSandlass
"Our thanks for your continued support,
Rick Geffken, President, JCHM (a New Jersey non-profit corporation)"
