As Salamu Alaikum, ICCMW has filed a civil complaint and request for injunction on Sep 21st 2016 against the City of Yonkers for discriminating against the Muslim community of Colonial Heights in our application to build a mosque. The injunction has been filed to nullify the decision designating ICCMW property as a landmark. The City of Yonkers, City Council voting process to designate ICCMW’s property was one of the fastest, and most biased land-marking of a property in Yonkers, New York.
