HB2658 is officially transmitted to the Senate!   It passed the House Floor last week and now must be heard in the Senate Judiciary Committee to move forward.

We received this message from a trusted source in the Senate regarding Sen. Wendy Rogers, Chair of the Judiciary Committee:

"I asked Wendy Rogers if she [would] hear this bill, she said if it gets sent to her by Petersen. She’s not willing to intervene with Petersen."

What this means: Senate President Warren Petersen is the key decision-maker. If he doesn’t assign HB2658 to the Judiciary Committee, the bill will stall, and second chances for Arizonans will be delayed once again.

Call & Email Sen. Warren Petersen and urge him to assign HB2658 to Judiciary ASAP.
