At first glance this just looks like some random Roland SC88Pro MIDI Rack being recorded playing a Roland SoundCanvas MIDI Demo, Moonlight Picnic. Boring right?

Ah, that's just the same MIDI played on SC8850. Wait, something's off. Since when that rack even interprets graph mode select? HUH?
Yes. https://github.com/ltgcgo/octavia/
This, is Octavia. a web framework that allows you to build MIDI displays of any kind. It does the interpretation heavylifting for you!, not just the typical GM, XG, or what, but also bizzare ones like SC, Korg, and other Yamaha weird resets, more to come.

Its demo that comes with are good examples what it could be, including these retro MIDI racks recreations. Right now they got SoundCanvas old & last, Yamaha MU, Korg NSR & PSR, and many more to come. And last but not the least, the Cambiare to show it all. Go check it out! They also got sample MIDIs there you can pick to test with. Heck, you know Yamaha MU `The Love Is Real`? The demo is even there too! INCLUDING THAT FANCY SYSEX EFFECTS!!!, and Octavia can have those interpreted!!! WHOAHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just look at the MU ones & compare it with someone's video about it. Yeah, demo no. `6` btw.
Mind you though, this framework does not include SoundFont system nor any kind of VSTi, except MIDI out maybe? ... If you'd like to debug your own supplied MIDI, you not only put your MIDI file in, but also have the pre-rendered audio of that MIDI made with your existing synth. But still though, ain't that cool?!?!?!
So check it out. It's pretty cool. And the development still going to this day. They got telegram group too. But apologies, we can't put that join link here due to policy we had in this campaign and maybe also the Change.org itself. Don't worry, The join link is right in that Source code Readme above, or any of the video from the dev himself. Go chat about MIDI, the standard, the file, this development, and report some bugs you find. Great luck!
Okay, okay sorry. the MIDI.... you gotta find it yourself. Uh.. afraid of, you know.. Simple. Just go that same GitHub page I just put red, it's `midi-demo-data`. There, check it out, clone it, and spread it like wildfire. All of them. Regularly pull those, and you're good to go.
Yeah, join the effort. Oh, hi JayB, Lumiere what's up?
So Yamaha, uh.. if you would finally for pecking finally worked on it (the VSTi!, S-YXG2024!), will you pls implement Octavia? Last time I bought this Roland SoundCanvas VA, it doesn't support their own SoundCanvas display SysEx, EWWWWWWWWWW!!! what the peck?!??!?!?!
