⚖️ The Court Agrees: Chazz’s Racial Bias Claims Have Merit!
On March 28, 2025, the court SECRETLY held a hearing and issued an Order to Show Cause (OSC)—meaning they found strong evidence that racial bias tainted Chazz’s conviction. But here’s the problem:
❌ The Court Failed to Notify Chazz or His Legal Team
We only found out YESTERDAY because the DA suddenly requested a 60-day extension to respond (dated April 23, 2025). Why the delay? Their excuses are shameful:
•"I’m going on vacation" 🏖️
•"My calendar is too busy with other cases" 📅
•"There’s too much paperwork" (1,700 pages they’ve had YEARS to review)
🚨 This Is a Stall Tactic—And It’s Unacceptable.
The Racial Justice Act was created to END systemic delays in cases like Chazz’s. Every day he remains incarcerated is another day of injustice.
💥 THE COURT MUST DENY THE DA’S EXTENSION.
The DA’s reasons do NOT meet the legal standard of "extraordinary circumstances." We demand the court rule NOW—no more delays!
