Based off of human population increasing, biodiversity loss in Asia this causing deforestation and pollution in lakes and bodies of water.  If you have ever thought about why are so many animals going extinct? Or if you have ever seen the movie Ice Age you may think Why have animals disappeared while humans have advanced? Well, animal species all around the world have gone extinct or have are being threatened by human impacts.

I have gathered multiple sources to help explain how humans in Asia specifically have been threatened by humans that live around the area. In each source, I looked at I found that Asia has a great number of animal species but these species need a place to live and not have it taken away from them then how will they live without a home? Asia is a tropical region so it is found that they do have plenty of forests which is where most wildlife lives but with deforestation happening in these tropical areas this can cause many effects to those species.

Many of these sources had lots in common but something that stood out to me was pollution in the lakes. The reason this stood out to me is that animals and living things need water to survive and with pollution, in the lakes and rivers it could cause harm to those animals. 8 out of the 10 most polluted rivers are in Asia. What do think about this? River flow all over Asia but with eight of those many are heavily polluted which can cause harm. For example, the Ganges river was polluted (I’m not sure if it’s no longer polluted) which was an impact on not only animals but the humans that lived in India as well.

In conclusion, humans impact environments which not only affects them but the animal species around them.
