You can still help get our voice heard with Cheshire West and Chester (CWAC) Authority:

1. Share the petition with family and friends – more than one person per household can sign.
2. Contact your local councillor and parish council. Explain why you supported the petition and why they must act now.

As a recap we are asking for:

• CWAC to act immediately to implement a temporary reduction from 40 mph to 30 mph. i.e. do not wait.
• Work with the school and community to agree how to best make this junction safer for the pedestrians and drivers who use it every day.
• Agree to work proactively with the community in future.

To date I am not aware that CWAC have acted on any requests from the petition. Sharing your views directly with your CWAC councillor and Parish councillor makes sure it is on everyone’s agenda locally. I am expecting to confirm a speaking slot at the forthcoming Council meeting in December to present the petition.
