The petition has particularly strong support from women in our community (75% of signatures), but we welcome ALL residents to join in making our roads safer.

1,700 signatures (0.5% of borough) → Triggers initial council review
3,400 signatures (1.0% of borough) → Qualifies for full council debate

The proposed 30mph limit would only add approximately 25 seconds to journey times - a small price for a safer road. More delays are already caused by existing traffic at roundabouts and business park at either end of this road. That's 25 seconds less sitting in queues.
