Woolies SA stop wrapping whole veg and fruit in plastic. Only recyclable plastic

Millions of tons of debris is floating around in our oceans, most of it is
plastic. The world is overloaded with plastic. Plastic is problematic
because it's non-biodegradable.  Most of the plastic items in our daily
lives are used once and then thrown away like plastic wrap, styrofoam
containers, straws, coffee-cup lids etc. Wrapping whole fruit and vegetables
is unnecessary. This leads to more pollution.  If produce has to be wrapped
in plastic then use only recyclable plastic. It is very upsetting to see how
much of the plastic they use is non-recyclable. Introduce glass coffee cups
in stores that customers buy can reuse over and over again like the JOCO
cup. Offer reusable bags on sale that customers can weigh and take their veg
and fruit home in. Be the example for the other South African retails and
bring the change.
