Comedic Katherine Ryan Supports Woods of Berkhamsted

 
Hello, Everyone!
 
We'd like to thank all our supporters who joined us last Thursday to call on Waitrose to reduce their garden centre offering, less than 100 yards from Woods. Everyone that attended made our night of celebration an impactful one!
 
We had the amazing comedian, Katherine Ryan, lending her support to us during filming for Channel 4's Joe Lycett's ‘Got Your Back’ programme. The plight of Woods facing an existential threat from Waitrose will be featured in the next series with Kathrine posing as our brand ambassador. Stay tuned to see her hilarious (spoof)  promo video on how we should respond to taking on Waitrose’s predatory behaviour.
 
Since the event, we've received positive exposure from The Berkhamsted Gazette. We now have well over 4 thousand signatures, and can't thank you enough! 
 
Katherine presented the petition to Waitrose and their spokesperson responded with: "We are sorry to hear that Woods of Berkhamsted feels this way as we've always tried to be very supportive of the local community ‘’

Which of course is not the case here. So, please continue to share our petition and let's keep the momentum going to get Waitrose to properly and substantially reduce their garden centre offering.
