Day 26 update

Today the women reached a huge milestone when they arrived at their overnight stop in Canberra. That's nearly 640kms from where they started. Tomorrow they will march to Parliament House.

If you are in Canberra please see the details of their walk tomorrow here and join them in solidarity.

It would be a wonderful gift for the women if we could boost their petition to 10,000 signatures tomorrow, that's one signature for each of the refugees waiting for permanent protection visas from the Australian government. So please share this petition with everyone you know and share their story.

Today we learned that unfortunately Shyamalie, had been unwell during the walk and had to be admitted to hospital. See Shyamalie's story here -

She is feeling better now and has rejoined the walk but has been left with $5000 of medical bills as she does not have a Medicare card due to her visa status. If you can possibly donate a little to help with this and the other costs of the walk please donate to -
