Day 17 The Riverina - the women are exhausted but keep on walking

A message from the 22 women walking:
Day 17 - It was a hot day today, everyone was very tired and thirsty, we were walking on the Olympic Highway. We saw snakes, dead birds and animals, very bad smells with flies everywhere, it made it hard to talk each other. There were beautiful farm animals and farm fields.
We don’t know how long it will take for to get our voices heard, but we don’t give up hope. We will fight until we get the answers, all the women are saying that we will do it. We are physically, emotionally and mentally depressed but we are fighting for 10,000 refugees who are in limbo that is giving strength.
Sarah Mansfield MP speaking in Parliament about the 22 women walking for freedom gave a boost to their campaign.
