I wrote this about 30 years ago when I worked on my high school’s newspaper.  The numbers are even worse now because perpetrators are not held accountable.
 Such a small number of MST perpetrators are dishonorably discharged let alone any sort of bad conduct discharge, or lose their pensions that no statistic exists to measure it.

but 66% of victims who report their sexual assault will receive a bad conduct discharge and all their earned benefits.
