Thank You so much for your HUMANITY and your support. It has been HELL/torturing etc. and terrible how much homeless people have suffered in the North of Canada and the huge proportion of them being First Nations peoples in my community, and the temperature outside at the nights only continues to go down with icy cold/strong wind chill.
The COVID-19 pandemic has increased in British Columbia/Canada. The government/authorities etc. publicly have said stay, stay home for your and others’ safety etc., BUT there is no home for the homeless people and our home for over 17 years was by terrible systematic RACISM/discrimination and retaliation/FRAUD etc. seized from us during the COVID-19 pandemic. So far, the government etc. stubbornly ignored me, and the home is the primary defense from the lethal Coronavirus and safety.
In the news this week, Todd Doherty MP for Prince George of my area says that the suicide national phone line is needed, but Todd Doherty himself has forced me/others to suicide. While Todd Doherty has gotten obese and getting enjoyment with his family from their luxury lives safely staying at their home during the COVID-19 pandemic wasting millions of the Canadian taxpayers' dollars on themselves I am starving and facing the death etc.
It is appealing how they have masked their wasting of the taxpayers’ money on their luxury lives and got re-elected. Todd Doherty is the number ONE on the list as the most spending money in Canada comparing to others MP. https://www.quesnelobserver.com/news/todd-doherty-highest-spending-mp-report/
E.g. Todd Doherty “wants every Canadian to be able to call 9-8-8 to instantly connect despondent individuals with a trained professional who can talk them out doing anything drastic and knows how to help them find the help they need” (2020, November 12). However, most places continue to be closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and on top of that, it was removed the phones in the public places and in the different community services places. I do not have a phone for many years, and you can see what kind of care I got from the physician in my previous petition’s update.
So far, what the governments have done during the COVID-19 pandemic is doubled the RCMPs who have been harassing, threatening, abusing, illegally criminalizing/racial targeting, intimidating etc. the homeless people.
Furthermore, they have violated the International Human Rights law. “Forced eviction, the permanent or temporary removal of a person from their lands or home – whether an apartment, a house, a tent or a car – constitutes a gross violation of international human rights law. Laws permitting forced evictions should be repealed. And all viable alternatives to eviction must be explored in consultation with residents” (Farha & Manek, 2020, February 11). However, those have been TOTALLY Violated in our case etc. Leilani Farha is a Canadian lawyer and the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Housing.
