This is Leslie Haynes, Chairman of the National Insurance Scheme of Barbados. Since the Minister of Labour Colin Jordan  made the announcement of the proposed changes to the NIS, there has been no public comment from this man.  Is he still with us? Has he been hospitalized with a life threatening sickness? Has he left the island?  Is he facing a gag order?  Why are we only hearing from the Deputy Chairman Rawdon Adams?  Is he afraid of the people of Barbados, so much so that he cannot face them?

With the magnitude of changes that has been proposed to the National Insurance  Scheme which is the life line of 95% of the population, does Mr. Haynes not owe Barbadians the common courtesy of addressing them on this matter.  Does Mr. Haynes believe that working class Barbadians are still enslaved and to be dictated to?  Does he believe that he is an absentee proprietor and can issue  orders from afar and everyone comply? Leslie times have changed!  The tax payers of Barbados pay you a salary as the Chairman of the Board of the NIS.  Treat them with Respect or resign!  If you see him shame him!
