A HUGE thanks to amazing people like you who have signed your name on this petition to help our youth like Seandell Jackson have a chance at reform! His name and plea for his case was brought to the attention of Governor Evers during a zoom meeting on 12/8/2020 concerning the 2021 budget for the Department of Justice in Wisconsin, as well as discussing shutting down the outdated Green Bay Correctional Facility. This was all put in writing and a copy sent to the governor’s office.
We pleaded for reform for our youth like Seandell, and explained the benefits of reforming and releasing individuals like him who deserve a second chance, for the sake of the community, the state, and most importantly; his son. The importance of the quality of life for our small children has a huge impact on everyone’s future, Seandell’s son included and he needs his father in his life like every other child does. There was so much more that was said, and what we need now are the voices from people like you and your friends to let the state of Wisconsin know that sentencing teenagers like Seandell to life without parole is cruel, unusual, and completely unfair punishment.
Please keep sharing Seandell’s petition with your friends and family, let’s get the numbers up and get our voices heard! And let’s give the youth of our generation like Seandell a second chance. Thank you so much for your support! God Bless and happy holidays!
