Nathan DeBruin, a lifelong Kenosha resident, amateur photographer and America Hero, didn’t have a dog in the fight during the Kenosha Riots of 2020. He didn’t “pick a side.” After the police-involved shooting of Jacob Blake, DeBruin said he thought Kenosha would likely be written about in the history books.

This young man just wanted to help and Prosecutor Binger wanted to manipulate, threaten, and abuse him in hopes that he would change his statement and add lies that were favorable to the prosecution's case. When Debruin did not change his story, and later hired an attorney and testified after being called by defense counsel, Binger allowed him to be disrespected, abused, and have his integrity be called into question by the prosecution on cross examination.

If nothing else Nathan Debruin has no dog in this fight. He knew he had material that should be seen and wanted to help. It was Prosecutor Binger who decided to try to take advantage of Debruin and force him to change his statement to be more favorable for the prosecution.

Nathan Debruin has emerged a hero, while prosecutor Binger has emerged a thug agent of the state.
