Dear Supporters,
Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 28th, is our moment. This is the day we can finally hold accountable those who hiked our water bills and increased our property taxes.
An opportunity like this only comes around once every four years. If we let these reckless hikes continue, Winnipeg will quickly become unaffordable for regular families to live in. We cannot afford to sit this out. Tomorrow, we must show the true power of our collective vote and reject the candidates who want to raise your taxes and refuse to reverse these unfair water bill hikes.
From day one, when I first started this petition, I promised that I would never let down those who stood with me. I have fought alongside you at every step, and now, I am taking our fight directly to the ballot paper.
Affordability is officially the number one issue in Winnipeg, and tomorrow, we have the power to fix it.
