On the afternoon of July 2nd 2016 a dog was found tied up with a standard leash to a van. This dog was out on the hot pavement for over an hour and a half whIle the owners were in a movie theater. Hardly any room to move and no water. Efforts were made by people who had witnessed what was happening by giving the dog water and some cheerios. A call was made to the local authorities who had stopped by and ONLY left a card with a note saying to call them. The more we let animal abuse such as this go on without any repercussions to the owners; the more we are going to see it. This incident is one of many that happen on a daily basis. But this time we have proof, a picture, eye witnesses and a license plate number. This will not go unseen. We must fight back against those who to decide to neglect and abuse their own animals.
